You have been tattooed in a
totally safe and sterile manner using the finest equipment and
colors available. Please follow these simple instructions to
ensure that your new tattoo comes out great.
Leave bandage on for at least
four (4) hours, but no longer then overnight.
Wash tattoo immediately after bandage removal with an antibacterial soap
and warm water and blot dry.
Let tattoo breath for at least 30 minutes after first washing, then apply
a thin coat of fragrance free white lotion (such as Curel) to the area.
Within two days your tattoo will begin to scab. This could last up
to two weeks (usually only one). During this time you could ruin
your new tattoo before it has a chance to heal.

Soaking - While it is important to wash
your skin and tattoo, soaking may cause scabs to come off
prematurely. Water in pools, Jacuzzis, etc. may
contain bacteria or chlorine, both which can harm a fully
unhealed tattoo.
UV Rays - Keep your new tattoo completely
out of the sun for no less then two weeks. Then use
clothing, sunblock and a little common sense to preserve
it's beauty.
Physical abuse - Do not rub, scratch, shave
or pick at your new tattoo. Avoid wearing clothing
that can rub against and irritate your new tattoo.
Wrong/bad lotions - Starting the following
day, apply lotion at least 3 times a day for at least a
month even though the tattoo may appear healed after only 2
weeks. Avoid using anything greasy on your new tattoo.
Bad advice from friends - You would not
believe some of the things that some of our clients friends
have told them. Don't believe everything you
hear. If you follow the above instructions, your new
tattoo will come out just the way you want it to and will
remain beautiful for years to come. |
